Surprisingly less Insufferable coworker that Ekkehardt has been butting heads with for 3+ years. There's a surprising amount of emotional depth underneath the apparent, burning desire to make Ekkehardt's life a misery (and even that is slightly rarer these days), and he's even gotten to see more of it than most people. He's still not sure whether this is a good thing or not, or whether anything about what he could tentatively call a friendship is a good thing.

	COMMENTARY "Surprisingly steady for someone who recently woke from a centuries-old nap and was immediately thrust into a modern world. Also easy on the eyes, but as funny as his reaction would be if I said that to his face, I can't do that to him."
KY ALARD DE KISKE "I am happy to report that he can handle electronics without my assistance now."
A knight templar put into an enchanted sleep for centuries. Ekkehardt often spent time assisting him early on so he wouldn't get in trouble with the IT department again. A pleasant man who exemplifies the virtues of a traditional. chivalrous knight - something that Ekkehardt finds a little old-fashioned but ultimately something he can respect.

	COMMENTARY "A good friend. He might go up several points* in my estimation if he stopped teasing me about that crush, though. But he's still a good friend, though I wouldn't say it out loud." *Note: Ekkehardt does not measure the strengths of his relationships in points, so this is effectively worthless and he cares anyway.
ALDERIC "GRIMM" LAVOIE "An old friend. Sometimes I'm still surprised how much he remembers about me."
An enigmatic performer and the current leader of the vampire coven known as the Grimm Troupe. Ekkehardt sometimes thinks of him as Alderic still, despite how much they've both changed since they first met. His skills as a performer and as a combatant are even more impressive than they used to be. Ekkehardt values their friendship highly, and considers him trustworthy enough to be somewhat vulnerable around him.

	COMMENTARY> "I don't know why everyone comments on the sardine fixation. You'd think they'd never seen a daemon with odd interests before. Hardly worth noting, really." *Note: Ekkehardt likes Valvatorez, so he's being a little biased. And a little protective, in his own way.
VALVATOREZ "Finally, someone I don't have to worry about. Much."
A centuries-old daemon and vampire once known and feared as a Tyrant, until a fateful meeting with a human changed the course of his life. Ekkehardt found him to be a pleasant and mildly interesting coworker over the three or so years they've worked together under the Academy's banner, but he kept him at arm's length until quite recently. He thinks quite highly of Valvatorez's skill and competency. He also thinks the daemon's feelings for the woman he met and still keeps his promise to after all this time is sweet, but he would never say that to his face.
