Keep me safe from...paperwork? No, I don't think there's any power that can do that. [ He sounds faintly amused. He taps at the charm. ]

We'll just have to see. If I get out of things I wouldn't otherwise, then I'll know it works, but that might take a while to see the results...

For now, I'll simply trust in its ability to keep me safe.

Maybe it will work out by giving you less paperwork to deal with. [A very unlikely scenario, one that no otherworldly force could possibly prevent, but one could hope.]

...And if it can't do that, I'll always be here to make it go faster anyway.

I like to think of it as practice instead.

[ He glances at her when she says 'practice', though. He has a vague knowledge that she's received various gifts and bits and pieces of training over her time here, but it's not something he involves himself with. ]

Practice? Are you considering a career, even at this stage?

[Not helpful. And well, there was no actual career plan anyway. But she did find a spinny chair to dive into so that she could demonstrate. Making little tiny stars from her hands.]

I got way better at it since Grimm helped. [--Not counting the scaring half to death--] But I still have a lot of trouble holding it for a really long time.
