[ Somewhere with bright lights...well, he knows plenty of places for that. He won't risk the infirmary this time, as much as he's tempted.

The quad courtyard will do. It's well lit up at all times. He makes his way there before he texts back. ]

Very well.

Go ahead and do whatever it is you were planning on.

[ Why he agrees to these things, he doesn't know. It could be a prank or it could be something more dangerous, but either way he supposes he'll find out in a moment. ]

Oh, are you already there?
You gotta tell me where you are!
I need to be there too!!

In the quad courtyard. You should be able to spot me easily.

[ When he's not making himself background noise he is generally easy to spot. He's pretty distinctive. ]

Five minutes hasn't started yet!!
Think of a favor in the meantime~
Be right there!!!

[ By which he means, he'll be there in like fifteen minutes and hopes Ekkehardt is still hanging around. ]

[ He wonders if he can leverage a 'don't get yourself into trouble' agreement out of him. That's probably too big a favor to ask, though, mostly because he knows it's a bad idea to ask for things that you're not sure they can follow through with.

Fifteen minutes isn't any time at all to him to wait, so he's still there when Kano arrives. ]

[ Ekkehardt has the patience of a saint, because not even Kano would have waited that long for himself— especially for himself. Promising to try not to get into trouble is about the best he can do, if Ekkehardt were to ask, but he's also currently trying his best and this is his best. ]

Hey, hello~! Ohh, it sure is bright out here, isn't it?! Like stadium lights!! How good~

[ Five minutes starts sometime... Kano bypasses Ekkehardt completely and goes around to look for a lamppost or something. Hm... No. He heads inside the Quad. ]

[ He's fond of Kano, in his own way. It makes him more patient with him than he would be for other people.

He simply nods in greeting, watching Kano's meandering path with curiosity, but not asking. The terms have been set, so he'll just wait to see what happens. ]

[suddenlybees]

[ He would probably be embarrassed and secretly happy if he knew, but he would also ask why..... seeing as Kano heads inside the Quad and finds a power outlet and sticks a metal fork into it.

What happens next is sort of what you'd expect.

[ Kano is always trying! He can respect that, even if what he tries isn't always safe or sensible as he'd prefer.

Kano is not far enough away from him for him not to notice the sound of something shorting out. It's alarming, to say the least! Especially considering the things he's gotten up to in the past!

He'll wait for a bit before actually following to check on him, so whatever's going to happen, it should probably happen soon. ]

[suddenlybees]

[ The lights outside flicker a bit before stabilizing, and there's just silence inside the building. ]

[ He's going to have to think of a significant favour for this one.

All right, he's going over to check on him now - or where he last saw him, at least. If he finds Kano's shocked himself into unconsciousness or something he will be very displeased. ]

[suddenlybees]

[ He was only briefly unconscious!! By the time Ekkehardt comes inside, it's to Kano sitting up on the floor and pocketing his fork— he can reuse this— and gnashes his teeth together twice, claps his hands once, nods to himself and pushes off his knees to get onto his feet. ]

...Alright! Favor has been completed! 'night, Ekkehardt!
